I want to get laser hair removal done on my sideburns. They're longer than I like. The top half is made up of thick hairs, but the bottom half is made up of short, thin hairs. Before I get the laser done, do I have to shave off the short, thin hairs? I'm afraid that they will grow back thick and noticable.

i want it to grow back, so im not going to get any more treatments. i know it'll come in thinner, but it will still come in. it's taking forever though. the hair around it is growing in fine, but the part that she lasered is coming in VERY slowly. will it eventually grow back all the way? does it just take longer to grow
