I shave my bikini area right now but I notice that it gets rough right away and shaving so often leaves me with red ingrown hairs that look gross. What's the best way to keep that area hairless while avoiding bumps and that rashy look?

I shave my bikini area close to every other week and I get red bumps afterwards, are there any remedies or things that you put onto it to avoid the bumps?

Any prevention tips? Maybe something to do after you shave? I use shave gel, a good sharp razor... I've tried some stuff to use after, it's called Bikini Zone, and it sort of works, but not really. Help?
